This is my favorite time of the year. When I was teaching I loved bringing out all my stacks of holiday books and reading a new i everyday to my class. Now, I do the aforementioned with my boys. There is just something about reading these stories next to the lights of the Christmas tree, that is so magical. These are just some of our favorites. I know this season ever seems to go so fast. Just, I encourage you to take a few minutes each night and sit past the tree, snuggle under a blanket, maybe make some pie crust cookies or these Crinkle Cookies and read 1 of these books.

Many of these books may be familiar to you; some may exist new, some are really new. I realize many of them may seem to be for a younger audition, but I assure yous anyone and anybody will savour these stories. Some were called for the cute illustrations, some for the funny words, others are classic stories read through generations. All of them spread the magic and cheer of the season.
